Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home. Jack was born January 24, 1924 in Shawnee. He was raised by his grandparents, John and Annie Parsons and mother, Laura Parsons. He died December 26 in Ardmore. He married Jessie Bray on May 11, 1946 in Seminole. He grew up in the Little area between Prague and Seminole. He served in the army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He moved to Davis in May of 1959 and was retired from AMOCO Productions after 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother and brothers, Otis Parsons and J.B. Franklin. Survivors are his wife, two sons, Gary Parsons, Davis and Larry Parsons, Watonga; one sister, Shirley Warden, Muskogee; one brother, Frank Carter, Tecumseh; sister-in-law, Faye Parsons; four grandchildren, Chad, Brandon, Dustin and Chayne Parsons; and two great-grandchildren, Abby and Audrey Parsons. Pallbearers were Chad, Brandon, Dustin and Chayne Parsons, Rick Warden and Mike Sudderth.
