Emery L. Mason officiating. Services were under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home of Ada. She was born to Clarence Parker and Bessie May Myers on August 3, 1922 in Sulphur. She died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003 at a local hospital. She moved to Ada from the Sulphur and Duncan areas. She attended Washington Grade School in Sulphur and graduated form Sulphur High School. She then graduated from Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasaw and taught school for many years in Duncan. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Sulphur. For many years, she was the choir director at the church and was a popular vocal soloist for many weddings and funerals. She was a past member of the Music Club.
