Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment was in Dougherty Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born February 2, 1953 in Lawton to Clyde Smith and Shirley Travis Smith, she died Tuesday, April 11 in Sulphur. She married David Pruitt on September 6, 1976 at Gainesville, Texas. She grew up in the Ardmore and Davis areas and graduated from Davis High School and later East Central University with a BS Degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse at Sulphur Veterans Center and a member of the Faith Center Church in Sulphur. Surviving are her husband, David, Sulphur; two daughters, Shawna Wilson and her husband, David, Ft. Worth, Texas and Jennifer Pruitt, Sulphur; two brothers, Mike Smith, Fort Towson and David Smith, Ardmore; a sister, Becky Johnson, Sulphur; two grandchildren, Landon and Madilyn Wilson, Ft. Worth and her stepfather, James Gaddy, Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Vicki Maupin.
