C. 'Robbie' Robbins, 83, of Davis was born Sept. 5, 1921, in Chatanooga to James O. and Dora Hart Robbins and died March 27, 2005. He was married to Living (Mabry) Robbins at Gainesville, Texas, May 28, 1953. He grew up in the Walters area. Robbins served in the Army during World War II and worked at Tinker Field as a mechanic. He has lived in Davis since 1976. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at Green Hill Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Finis Steelman under the direction of Fox Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife; his daughter; two grandchildren; two brothers, and a sister. Fox Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements."
