::Memorial Gardens Cemetery--Castro TX

Richard Rivera Sr.

DIMMITT - Richard Rivera Sr., 78, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005.

Rosary and prayer vigil will be at 6 p.m. today in Colonial Funeral Home. 
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Immaculate Conception Catholic 
Church with the Rev. Lupe Mayorga and the Rev. Ken Keller officiating. 
Burial will be in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Rivera was born in Sulphur, Okla., on April 3, 1927.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; three sons, Richard Rivera Jr. of 
Plainview, Henry Rivera of Dimmitt and Edward Rivera of Seguin; five 
brothers, Cecil and Thomas Rivera, both of Lubbock, John Rivera of Lawton, 
Okla., Ray Rivera of Germany and Roland Rivera of Corpus Christi; two 
sisters, Mary Castillo of Midland and Rosa Gonzalez of Hamlin; five 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
