Interment was in Drake Cemetery, south of Sulphur, with Watts Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born October 18, 1934 in Sulphur to the late Leonard and Jimmie Corbin Runyan, he died Wednesday, April 28 at his home in Kingston. He was raised in Sulphur and moved to Kingston in 1966. He joined the U.S. Army where he served from January 21, 1954 to January 20, 1956. He married Peggy Colene Holloway on December 1, 1962 in Gainesville, Texas. He worked as a rancher for Raymond Gary, with Bull Buck at INCA Community Services and at CM Trailers as a welder. He was a member of the Kingston All Sports Booser Club and the Marshall County Round-Up Club. He enjoyed roping, hunting, fishing, watching his grandchildren and sports activities. He is survived by his wife, of the home; one son, Jimmy Allen Holloway, Phoenix, Ariz.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy Sue and Al Mansfield, Anna, Ill., Cheryl A. and Steve McKinley, Mustang, Lisa Ann and Steve McAdoo, Kingston and Bobbie Jean Martin, Kingston; nine grandchildren, Heath, Heather, Jimmy Glenn, Haylee, Tenna Rae, Scott, Shane, Vanidy and Bobby; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Christian; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Pete and Sylvine Ruynan and Jim "Worry" and Betty Runyan, both of Sulphur, John David and Sandra Runyan, Madill and Loren "Buddy" and Ruth Runyan, Brighton, Colo.; two sisters, Jo Thomison and Lou Ellen Smith, both of Sulphur; a brother-in-law, John Orsborn and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Runyan, Gore; 29 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles and Kenneth Runyan and sisters, Helen Orsborn and Sue Telford. Pallbearers were Shane McAdoo, Bobby McAdoo, Steve McKinley, Steve McAdoo, Shawn Runyan, Heath Williams, Scott Williams, Carl Runyan and Ronnie Runyan.
