Shepherd, Kitty Anna

Kitty Anna Shepherd Apr. 14, 1917 - Apr. 19, 2006 Kitty Anna Shepherd 
was born on April 14, 1917, near Sulphur, Oklahoma to John E. Worley 
and Clara Emmaline McBride. She married Frank P. Shepherd on May 24, 
1944, in Ventura, CA. They moved to Bakersfield in 1946. She was a 
faithful Jehovah's Witness for many years and enjoyed sharing her 
faith at every opportunity. She passed away on April 19, 2006 but 
looks forward to being resurrected into an earth cleansed of all 
wickedness at Jehovah's given time and reunited at that time with her 
family and friends. She and her husband successfully operated F P 
Shepherd Construction for many years. Ann is survived by her three 
children, Dorotha (Jerry) Fowler, Brenda (Ernie) Nixon and Frank 
Shepherd; seven grandchildren, Andrew Nixon, Toby Starr, Louie 
Shepherd, Jonathan Fowler, Rachel Dailo, Angela Shepherd and Shawn 
Shepherd; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; a 
brother, Lawrence Worley and two sisters, Clara Byers and Hazel 
Castleberry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in 
death by her parents, her husband, 7 brothers, 2 sisters and a 
grandson, Jason Fowler. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 
6, 2006, 1:30 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 400 
Universe Ave., Oildale.
