David George officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born February 5, 1937 to Albert and Louise Cape, she died Thursday, Jan. 4. She married Robert A. Stebbins on January 21, 1955. The couple moved to El Dorado, Kan. and had three children. She enrolled at Butler County Community College and later Wichita State University, where she was awarded a degree in Adult Basic Education. After her education career ended, she and her husband moved to Rockwall, Texas to enter private business. After retiring, she continued to participate in Beta Sigma Phi and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid sports fan and maintained a close relationship with family and friends. She was a member of the Sulphur United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Robert, Rockwall, Texas; a son, Bob Stebbins and wife, Peggy, Denton, Texas; a daughter, Karen Siwek and husband, Christopher, Augusta, Kan.; two granddaughters, Donya and Linzee Sparks and great-grandsons, Brayden and Skyler Sparks, Wichita, Kan. She was preceded in death by a son, Brent Stebbins.
