Services were Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Wayne Carter and Pastor James Densman officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery. She was born Aug. 24, 1923, in Davis to Ruth Ann (Denham) Buffington and Stephen Arnold Douglas Buffington. Sadler grew up in the Davis area and graduated from Davis High School. She married Edward Donald Sadler on Oct. 17, 1947, at Gainesville, Texas, and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1990. Mrs. Sadler was a member of the First Baptist Church of Davis. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and a Foster Grandmother at the Davis Elementary School for many years. She was also preceded in death by both parents; three brothers, William "Pete" Buffington, Tom Buffington and James "Bunk" Buffington, and three sisters, Lillie Taylor, Lela Healey and Hattie Johnson. She is survived by three children, Jackie Don Sadler and Dianne Gilliland, both of Davis, and Dadriaon Donohew of Duncan; a sister, Marie Warren of Spencer; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Paige (Gibson) Lee, Scott Gibson, Joe Don Gibson, Jason, Jody and Jeremy Gilliland; Natalie (Sadler) Moss and Lincoln Tyler Derrick Sadler, and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons, Scott Gibson, Joe Gibson, Jason Gilliland, Jeremy Gilliland, Jody Gilliland and Lincoln Sadler. Honorary pallbearers were David Gilliland, Bill Donohew, Paul O'Shields, Shane Moss, Natalie Moss, Kimberly Lee and Larissa Gilliland.
