Frank Trent and Rev. Gene Williams officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home, Ada. Konawa Desert Storm Post #11194 conducted military honors at the cemetery. Mr. Stone died Thursday, May 6, 2004 at an Oklahoma City Hospital. He was born on July 31, 1931 in Sulphur to Clarie and Minnie Cummings Stone. He graduated from Sulphur High School. He married Belva Trent on August 27, 1957 in Sulphur. He was a minister, pastoring in several churches in the Sulphur and Ada areas. He was a retired cattle inspector with the United States Department of Agriculture. He was a member of the of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Belva Stone, of the home; one sister, Ruth Hoover, Sacramento, Calif.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Karla Joann Stone and Sherri Lynn Stone; two brothers, Thomas Stone and L.C. Stone and one sister, Minnie Ray. Pallbearers were Kent Lee, Jason Lee, Tim Cornelius, Keith Trent, Chris Owens, and Kyle Trent.
