Interment was at Dolberg Cemetery under the direction of Cowley-Krien Funeral Home. She was born on October 25, 1937 in Ada to Warren and Mamie Stone Dilbeck. She died June 26, 2004 at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Ardmore. On June 4, 1955 she married Gomer Sledd in Sulphur who preceded her in death in 2001. She was born in Ada, grew up in the Roff area and attended Hickory Schools. Due to her husband's job she lived in Watonga, from 1976 to 1993. She then moved to Sulphur where she lived the remainder of her life. She is survived by one daughter, Wanda and husband, Darrell Warren, Sulphur; one son, Jimmy Sledd, Caddo; six grandchildren, Mike and Tammy Sledd, Larry and Crystal Ellis, Jason Sledd, Kirk and Crystal Warren, Amber Norton and Kendall and Carrie Warren; 12 great grandchildren; two brothers, Leland Dilbeck, Checotah and Richard Dilbeck, Tyler, Texas and three sisters, Geneva Fennell, Roff, Ester Jackson, Choctaw and Ruth Payton, Lubbock, Texas. She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Sledd, one sister and four brothers. Pallbearers were: Kirk Warren, Kendall Warren, Mike Sledd, Jason Sledd, Larry Ellis and Greg Williams.
