James Densman officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hale's Funeral Home, Davis. Born December 9, 1928 to McKinley Harrison and Katie Mae (Gargis) Simms, he died Tuesday, Feb. 14 in Sulphur. He married Marsha Lea Minnick on May 12, 1970 in Gainesville, Texas. After graduation from Davis High Schoo, he began a long career in the oil industry. He was employed as a consultant for Helmrich & Payne Oil, and retired from Sentinel Supervision 27 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Marsha, Elmore City; three daughters, Terry Bullock and her husband, Richard, Foster; Tena Paul and her husband, Jackie, Elmore City and Jamie Simms, Lindsay; six grandchildren, Ty, Levi, James, Cole, Haley and Payton; one sister, Nelda Welch and husband, Jake, Sulphur; one niece and two nephews.
