Alan Dale officiating. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery with Krien Funeral Home of Davis in charge of arrangements. Born June 25, 1929 to Clarence and Omar (Joiner) Sims, he died Saturday, Dec. 30 in Sulphur. He grew up and lived in Davis all his life. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict from January, 1948 to October, 1950. He and Kay Dickerson were married in Texas on August 13, 1964. He worked in construction and was an 18-year employee for the City of Davis. Surviving are his wife, Kay, of the home; two sons, Russell "Rusty" Sims and Chad Sims, both of Davis; one daughter, Sharon Allen, Arlington, Texas; one brother, Wayne Sims, Davis; one sister, Owanda Kidd, Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Shawn and Brad Kirk and Juston, Katie, Riley and Bronc Sims.
