W. "Dub" West Services for J. W. "Dub" West, 81, Sulphur, were held Monday, May 5, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Mike Russell and Rev. Frank Trent officiated at the service with interment at Oaklawn Cemetery. Clagg Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mr. West was born July 25, 1921 in Berwyn to Jess West and Pearl M. Cavner West. He died May 3, 2003 in Ardmore. He married Bernice Collins on July 25, 1941 in Murrray County. He was a welder and a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He had lived in this area all of his life, attending school at Nebo. He retired from OG&E after 33 years of service. Mr. West is survived by his wife, Bernice, of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kaye and Gary Fullerton, Davis; Karol and Glenn Day, Tulsa; and Marilyn and Randy Caldwell, Dallas, Texas; mother-in-law Myrl Collins, Sulphur; brother-in-law, Billy Collins, Grants Pass, Ore.; two sisters-in-law, Doris Stoltzfus, Denver, Colo. and Theda Fincher, Sulphur; grandchildren Dale Fullerton and Stephanie, Rhonda Staggs and Kevin, Jeremy Fullerton and Melissa, Amber and Brandon Day and Ryan and Blake Caldwell; and great grandchildren Tyner, Rylie and Abbie Staggs, Hunter Fullerton, Brenden Brown, Ashley Brown and Weston Fullerton. Pallbearers were Hunter Fullerton, Blake Caldwell, Jeremy Fullerton, Kevin Staggs, Ryan Caldwell, Dale Fullerton, Tyner Staggs and Brandon Day.
