Bingham officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home, Elmore City. Born December 13, 1938 in Baum, he died Tuesday, June 14 at Norman Regional Hospital. He grew up in Sulphur, graduating from Sulphur High School. After graduation he began to work in an Ardmore grocery store where his career spanned over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He lived in Ada from 1969 to 1996 and retired in 1997. After retirement, he married Jeanette Wilson and the couple made their home in Katie. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette, of the home; two sons, Curtis West, Ardmore and Tom Wilson and his wife, Janet, Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Regina Pereira and her husband, Tony, Lone Grove and Carolyn Wilson, Oklahoma City; one brother, Sam West and wife, Norma, Ardmore; one sister, Bonnie Sampley, Baum and three grandchildren.
