White Services for Weldon W. White, 82, Durant, were held at Coffey-Murray Chapel on Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Coffey officiating. Interment was at Highland Cemetery, Durant, under the direction of Coffey- Murray Funeral Home. Mr. White was born to Joseph L. and Lennie Russell White on Saturday, Jan. 15, 1921 in Broken Bow. He died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003 at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, Durant. He married Goldine C. Nunnally in Chickasha on November 2, 1950. Mr. White lived and ranched in the Sulphur area for over 40 years. He was of the Baptist faith and belonged to Rolling Hills Riding club in Amarillo, Texas. He loved being a true cowboy and horseman. He retired in refrigeration maintenance. Preceding him in death were his parents, Lester and Lennie White; two sons, Ronnie White and Jay Haggle; two brothers, Gwen White and Kenneth White and two sisters, Virginia White and Verl Gist. Survivors are his wife, Goldine White, Durant; two sons, Dean White and wife, Donna, Mineral Wells, Texas and Darryl Haggle, Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Sue Tyson, Marshville Mo. and Anne Wilcoxen, Fort Worth, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
