All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Davis News, Wednesday, February 9, 2005, Page 3 carried the following obituary: LESLIE EDWARD WHITE Funeral services for Leslie Edward White, 75, of Davis were Feb. 7 at Fox Funeral Chapel with Dwight Brown and David White officiating. He was buried at Green Hill Cemetery. White was born May 1, 1929, in Davis to John David and Vandella (Morris) White and died Feb. 5, 2005, at Ardmore. He lived in the Davis area most of his life and graduated from Davis High School. Jeanne Brooks and he were married April 12, 1957, at Davis. White served in Korea while he was in the Army and was a supervisor of operations for Santa Fe Railroad for 30 years before retiring in April 1984. He was a member of East Main Church of Christ. His parents and a brother, Lester 'Slug' White preceded him in death. His survivors include his wife; three children, and six grandchildren.
