Darryl Patrick officiating. Services were under the direction of Krien Funeral Home of Sulphur. Born June 28, 1935 in Sulphur to George Forrester and Bertha Mae (Rafferty) Wilson, Sr., he died August 26 in Sulphur. He attended school in Roff. He married Emma Beth (Britt) Wilson on November 18, 1954 and worked as a mechanic for over 50 years. He was also pastor of the Oak Grove Church for six years. Surviving are his wife, Emma, of the home; two sons, Edgar "Bud" Leon Wilson and wife, Robbie, Roff; and Jimmy Lee Wilson and wife, Sharon, Roff; two daughters, Darlene Copeland and husband, Tim, Lightning Ridge and Patricia Ann Wilson, Roff; one brother, Bill Pierce, Roff; two sisters, Barbara Britt, Roff and Thelma of California; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ernie and Gene Maple and two sisters, Jo and Alice. Pallbearers were Ed Britt, Jim Britt, A. J. Britt, J. R. Clark, Lonnie Britt and Alfred Britt.
