Wyman was born on April 1, 1922 in Sulphur to Georgia Elizabeth Goldsberry and William Miles Wright. He attended Washington Grade School and graduated from Sulphur High School in 1940 and then enrolled in Okla. A&M College (OSU). After leaving college to go to work for Cessna Aircraft at Wichita, Kan., Wyman joined the US Navy in 1943 and was discharged in 1945. He returned to Sulphur and started Wright-Dodson Construction with Ralph Dodson. The two built many schools in southern Oklahoma before he moved to Norman, where he owned and operated several businesses including Norman Concrete, Norman Electric & Teague and Wright Electric. In 1975 he re-enrolled at OSU and earned a degree. In 1975 he started teaching electricity at Moore-Norman Vocational Technical School and retired in 1990. Wyman loved to play golf, fish and woodworking. He was very active at the Moore Senior Center where he loved to organize pool tournaments and play pool and cards. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Moore Council on Aging. Wyman and Carolyn Ann Conley were married on January 17, 1969 and were married for 34 years. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of the home; four children, Jeannie Luhnow and husband, Wilbur, Julian, Calif.; Michael Wright and wife, Pauline, Norman; Lisa Mayo, Wilburton and Richard Wright, Wilburton; six grandchildren, Scott and Ron, Lakeside, Calif.; John Neal and wife, Michele, Dallas, Texas; Jeff Wright, Norman, Greg Wright and wife, Sonia, Moore and Dena Fisher and husband, Tony, Oklahoma City; eight great- grandchildren, Nathan, Catherine, Jonathan, Steven, Jake, Garrett and Alyssa Neal and Rebecca Fisher and two sisters, Oneta Middlemus, Tulsa and LaJune Ury, Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Wanda Gentry and Hazel Wall. Services were at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel. Interment was at Oaklawn Cemetery, Sulphur under the direction of the John M.
