Lived at 740 1-2 Boston. Drowned in Tenkiller Lake. Reverend Bill G. Shirel officiated at services assisted by Reverend Melvin Garrison, Ardmore. Burial in Elmwood cemetery, Wagnoner under direction of Hersman Funeral Home. Ford had lived in Muskogee since 1957. For the past three years had been employed by J.C. Penney Company. He was born at Wagoner July 14,1938. Pallbearers were Stanley Thompson, Norman Corbell, Clyde Neely, Virgill James, Billy Sexton and Dale Brady. Honorary pallbearers were Garland White ,Bert Lewis, Marvin Gould, C.E. Rippetoe, Clarence Willis, and Clyde Watts. Survivors: wife, Betty of the home; parents: Mr. And Mrs. W. M. Ford of Muskogee; three brothers: David, Jerry and Billy all of Muskogee; two sisters: Sharon and Kay, both of Muskogee; paternal grandparents: Mr. And Mrs. J. A. Ford of Muskogee and maternal grandmother: Mrs. Effie Wilder of Muskogee.
