AGNES MARIAN RICHARDSON

 Agnes Marian "Nevels" Richardson 77, a Kansas City, MO resident died
 August, 3, 2002, at the Plaza Manor in Kansas City, MO.

 Born Oct. 7, 1924 in Muskogee, Ok to Christina "Meigs" Nevels and
 Zebedee James Nevels, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, and
 brother Zebedee James Nevels, Jr.

 Agnes and Lawrence I. Richardson, Sr. exchanged marriage vows October 7,
 1989. She professed Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was a
 member of St. Paul AME Church in Wichita, KS, and later became a member
 of the Eight Street Church in Kansas City, KS.

 A graduate of Pittsburg State Teachers College with a Bachelor of
 Science degree in Education in 1945, she received her Masters Degree
 from the University of AZ.

 She was dedicated elementary teacher in the Wichita School District,
 retiring in 1985.

 She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Richardson, Sr., stepdaughter,
 Reena Richardson Steward, Stepson; Lawrence Richardson, Jr.; thirteen
 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; six sisters, nieces, nephews,
 other relatives and a host of friends.
