Walter David Ford
January 16, 1988

Services for Walter David Ford, 86 will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Starnes Cemetery, 
Fort Gibson, with the Rev. Harry J. Ford officiating. Bradley Funeral Service is in 
charge of arrangements. Mr. Ford was born in Muskogee on July 19,1901, the son of Dave 
and Mary Ford. He was reared and educated in the Muskogee area. A longtime member of 
Pentecostal Holiness Church of  Fort Gibson. Mr. Ford was a farmer and rancher until 
1960 when ill health forced him to retire. He enjoyed gardening. Survivors include two 
daughters Darlene Thompson and Esther Smithson, both of Fort Gibson; three grandchildren; 
and three great grandchildren.
