News from the Cherokee Nation


   WARDEN
   Bidy BATTLES WARDEN, 83, died November 18. Services were held November
   21, in Welch.
   She was the daughter of the late Ada and Hugh BATTLES of Stilwell. She
   taught school in and around Tahlequah in the early 1930's. She was a
   sister of the late Allie WOLF of Stilwell.
