Volume 3 - Page 6 (71) ___________________________________________________________________________ ALLOTMENT | NAME OF ALLOTTEE | SEX | AGE | NUMBER | INDIAN ENGLISH | | | ___________________________________________________________________________ Department of the Interior Office of Indian Affairs April 11, 1892 The foregoing schedule (embracing 15) sheets of 419 allotments of lands in severalty made to Indians on the Cheyenne and Arapahoe Reservations in Oklahoma in accordance with an agreement with said Indian, ratified by the Act of Congress approved March 3, 1891, (26 Stats 989) by Special Agent Marine D. Tackett, in charge of Special Agents Parker, Kelly, Wright and Robison under instructions from this office dated April 29, 1891 and approved by the Department, is respectfully submitted to the Secretary of the Interior with the recommendation that he approve the allotments therein described (except allotments numbered from 3106 to 3116 both inclusive, the rights of said allottees to be hereafter determined) and cause patents to issue therefor in the names of the allottees as provided in the 5th section of the Act of Congress approved February 8, 1887 (24 Stats 388), this also recommended that the several tracts described on pages 16 and 17 be reserved for the purpose indicated as to each of them. Morgan Commissioner Department of the Interior April 12th 1892 The Allotments to the Indians on the Cheyenne and Arapahoe Reservation in Oklahoma, as described in the foregoing recommendation of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, are hereby approved (except Nos. 3106 to 3116 both inclusive which are suspended for further consideration) and the Commissioner of the General Land Office is directed to cause patents to issue therefor in the names of the Allottees in form and of the legal effect prescribed by the 5th Section of the Act of February 8, 1887, (24 Stats, 388).
