Ex-Governor Jonas Wolfe died on the 24th at his home near Tishomingo.  He was for several years governor of the Chickasaws and was the last of the full blood governors.  In the early days of the nation he was a great leader among his people and was one of the oldest landmarks of pioneer Indian citizenship in the Indian Territory.
