BOHANNAN, DECEASED. On this day comes on to be heard the petition of SALLY ANN BOHANNON and ANNIE BOHANNON. The Court finds from the petition aforesaid and from moral evidence adduced in open court that one LARTIN S. BOHANNON was enrolled as a choctaw Citizen upon the rolls of the said Tribe oppossite No. 5931 and that the said LARTIN S. BOHANNAN died intestate on or about the 9th day of Oct. 1904, leaving as his heirs at law the following named parties: his wife SALLY ANN BOHANNAN and his daughters ANNIE, FRANCES, MINNIE, MISSIE and ETHEL BOHANNAN and no others. The Court further finds that by virtue of citizenship of the said LARTIN S. BOHANNAN in the Choctaw Tribe of Indians he had allotted to him a full Choctaw-Chickasaw Allottment, and that of this allottment the following described land, namely The E1/2 of The SE1/4 of Sec. 29, Twp. 1 North, Range 1 West was allotted in the Chickasaw Nation, the residue of said allottment being allotted in the Choctaw Nation. The Court finds that prior to the admission of Oklahoma to the Union there was issued from the Federal Court, sitting at Antlers letters of Administration upon the estate of the said LARTIN S. BOHANNAN, deceased and that the said Administration is pending in the County Court of Pushmataha County. The Court further finds that the said petitioners SALLIE ANN BOHANNAN and ANNIE BOHANNAN are of lawful age and of competent learning and have this day conveyed to EDGAR A. BANCROFT by a warranty deed, for the consideration of $250.00, cash in hand paid the above described premises. The Court finding that they are lawfully seized in an estate of inheritance in and to the above described premises, that they have a lawful right to convey their interest in and to the said premises and that the consideration paid therefor is reasonable and just. IT IS THEREFORE BY THE COURT considered, ordered and adjudged that the conveyance this day made by the said SALLIE ANN BOHANNAN and ANNIE BOHANNAN be approved and the same is hereby in all things approved. SIGNED J. P. DAVENPORT COUNTY JUDGE OF PUSHMATAHA COUNTY IN THE COUNTY COURT OF PUSHMATAHA COUNTY SITTING AT ANTLERS. In The Matter of the Sale of the Estate of LARTIN S. BOHANNAN, Deceased. Comes now SALLY ANN BOHANNAN and ANNIE BOHANNNAN and respectfully state to the Court that they are residents of Leflore County, Oklahoma and that they are full blood Choctaw Citizens and that they are enrolled as such upon the rolls of the said tribe opposite numbers 5932 and 5933 respectively. Petitioners further state to the Court that they are related to LARTIN BOHANAN, deceased in the following manner, viz; That SALLY ANN BOHANNAN was the wife of LARTIN BOHANNAN, deceased and that ANNIE BOHANNAN is the daughter of the said LARTIN BOHANNAN. Petitioners further state to the Court that during the life time of the said LARTIN BOHANNAN, deceased, he had allotted to him a full Choctaw Allottment of land, by virtue of his being a Choctaw Citizen and being enrolled as such opposite number 5931 on the said rolls. Petitioners further state to the Court that a portion of the said allottment is situated in what was known as the Chickasaw Nation and a great ways from their home and that for this reason and because of the difficulty which they have experienced in handling this land they consider it to their best interest to sell the same that they may use the proceeds derived therefrom for the improvement of their home. Petitioners further state to the Court that they have, for these reasons sold the following described lands, towit: E1/2 of the SE1/4 of Sec. 29, Twp 1 North and Range 1 West of the Indian Base and Meridian. the same being a portion of the allotment of the said LARTIN BOHANNAN, to EDGAR A. BANCROFT for the sum of $250.00 and that they consider that the price paid therefor is a reasonable one and in no way out of porpotion to the true value of the said land. Wherefore premises considered your petitioners pray that the Court will approve their act in selling the said land as the law directs. SIGNED SALLY ANN BOHANAN and ANNIE BOHANON.
