In the matter of the approval of the sale of lands, allotted to MARGARET S. BOHANAN, deceased, by full blood heirs of SELINA BOHANAN, a full blood, now deceased. PETITION FOR APPROVAL OF DEED. Comes Now your petitioners, NELSON BENTON and PHOEBE BENTON his wife and shows to the Court; that MARGARET S. BOHANAN died about 1910, leaving as her sole heirs at law the following living children, TOM BOHANAN, JULIUS BOHANAN, MINNIE BENTON, PHOEBA WALL, FLORENCE GOODSON, and AMANDA HUDSON; a husband SAMUEL H. BOHANAN, and the descendants of two deceased sons WILLIE J. BOHANAN and LEVI BOHANAN. That LEVI BOHANAN left as his sole and only heir, one SELINA BOHANAN, who inherited the interest of her deceased father by right of representation. That, thereafter to-wit, on the 30th day of September 1911, said SELINA BOHANAN, departed this life intestate, having as her sole heirs at law, your petitioners, NELSON BENTON and PHOEBA BENTON grand father and grandmother and SAMUEL H. BOHANAN, grandfather on her mothers side. That upon the 2nd day of October, 1911, your petitioners NELSON BENTON and PHOEBE BENTON, made and executed a general warranty deed, conveying for the consideration of $25.00 to O. T. ALLEN all their right title and interest in the Homestead portion of the allotment of said MARGARET S. BOHANAN deceased, more fully described as follows, to-wit: West Half of North East Quarter of North East Quarter and North West Quarter of North East Quarter and North Half of South West Quarter of North East Quarter in Section 31 and North East Quarter of North East Quarter of South East Quarter Section 30 all in Township 3 North Range 23 East, containing 100 acres more or less according to the Government survey thereof. That the lands described herein were the lands allotted to MARGARET BOHANAN as her homestead allotment. That the said SELINA BOHANAN was a resident of the County of Pushmataha at the time of her death and that this Court has jurisdiction of the settlement of her state. That your petitioners herein have the right to convey said interest in the above described lands, with the approval of the County Court herein they being full blood Indians. That said deceased SELINA BOHANAN was a minor and left no other relatives than grandparents living at the time of her death. Therefore premises being considered your petitioners pray that an order be made herein approving said sale and confirming it in all that your petitioners are fully satisfied with said consideration and that same is adequate and satisfactory to petitioners in all things. OKLAHOMA In the matter of the sale of lands inherited by NELSON BENTON and PHOEBA BENTON, from SELINA BOHANAN, deceased. Order approving Deed. Now on this 3rd day of November 1911, comes on regularly to be heard the petition of NELSON BENTON and PHOEBA BENTON for the approval of a certain deed made and executed by them to O. T. ALLEN, they being full blood heirs of SELINA BOHANAN, deceased, conveying for a consideration of $25.00, to said O.T. ALLEN, located in Leflore County, Oklahoma, and described as follows, to-wit: The West Half of North East Quarter of North East Quarter and North West Quarter of North East Quarter and North Half of South West Quarter of North East Quarter and North West Quarter of South East Quarter of North East Quarter of Section 31, and North East Quarter of North East Quarter of South East Quarter of Section Thirty, Township 3 North Range 23 East. Containing 100 acres more or less as the case may be according to the Government survey thereof. And it being further proven to the Court that said SELINA BOHANAN died intestate in Pushmataha County, on or about the 30th day of September 1911, and was at that time a resident of said County and the owner of an inherited interest in above described real estate; that the petitioners herein are full blood Indian heirs appear to be fully cognizant of the full purport, meaning and effect of their acts; and the consideration $25.00 appearing to be the best consideration now obtainable or that has been offered, and the grantors being desirors of accepting the same, the Court finds that the deed should be approved. It is therefore by the Court ordered, adjudged and decreed that the deed above described and set forth be and the same is approved. ?. P. Davenport County Judge.
