He would have been 67 years old two days later. (His birthdate was not given, but from information in the obituary, he would have been born December 17, 1916.) His remains were sent back to Wetumka for burial in the Weleetka Cemetery. No other information was given on the date or place of his services or interment. He graduated from Weleetka High School and from Oklahoma University at Norman as an architectural engineer. He worked for steel companies in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Muskogee, and El Paso in Texas. He was preceded in death by an older brother, Frank AUTRY. He was survived by his mother, Fannie Robinson AUTRY; his son, Brick AUTRY; his daughter (not named); his brother, Mel AUTRY; and two sisters, Callie Jane AUTRY and Elizabeth AUTRY.
