He died August 22, 1980. No details were given on the funeral services or interment. He had lived in the Bristow area all his life. He was a retired rancher and a member of Muttloke Methodist Church. He was appointed to the Creek Nation Advisory Council, representing Euchee District, in November 1976 and served until January 1980. He is survived by his children, Robert ALLEN of Muskogee, Corkey ALLEN of Wewoka, Byron D. ALLEN of the U.S. Navy, Poni Gayle ALLEN of Tulsa, and Adrianne ALLEN of Bristow.
