Helena Isabel (Chalakee) ALLEN was born July 30, 1946, in Okmulgee. She died April 19, 1983, in Topeka, KS. Funeral services were held May 3 at Honey Creek Indian Methodist Church where she had been a member. Revs. Jesse SULLIVAN, Sam HANEY and King ALLEN officiated. Interment was at Okmulgee Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy D. THOMAS, Wesley DUNN, Jr., Bobby HARDRIDGE, Walter SUNNY, William CHALAKEE, Steve WOODFIELD, James Phillip ALLEN, and Bryon Scott ALLEN. Survivors include her husband, Charles ALLEN of the home, three daughters, Rebecca, Christina and Angela ALLEN, all of the home; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Reuben CHALAKEE of Okmulgee; two sisters, Pearl THOMAS of Okmulgee, and Sue SEAWRIGHT of Donalds, South Carolina.
