David L. BERRYHILL was born February 2, 1898, in Okmulgee County. He died October 12, 1983, in Wewoka. Funeral services were held October 15 at the Tallahassee Methodist Church. Pallbearers were Dave POWELL, Ricky POWELL, Woodrow CHALAKEE, Charles SIMMERS, Tom BERRYHILL, Jr., and Alfred BERRYHILL. Interment was in the Tallahassee Cemetery under the direction of the Stout Funeral Home of Wewoka. He had attended Nuyaka Mission School and was a veteran of World War II. His survivors include two brothers, Jeff BERRYHILL of Okmulgee, and Richard BERRYHILL of Oakland, CA; two sisters, Peggy KING and Mahalia CHALAKEE, both of Okmulgee; and several nieces and nephews.
