She and her family moved from Oklahoma to Hawthorne, CA, in 1957. Survivors include her parents Gwen and Raeford WATSON, Gardena, CA; brothers Eugene Ray WATSON, Raiford WATSON, Jr., Gardena, CA; sister Patricia WATSON, Gardena, CA; two nieces, Jolen and Amanda WATSON, two uncles, Eddie WATSON and Adrian WATSON, an aunt, Naomi KILLINGSWORTH, and a host of relatives and friends.
