He died Nov. 11, 1982 at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Prairie Springs Church northwest of Okemah. Services under the direction of Webb Funeral Home were held at Prairie Springs with Rev. John FACTOR officiating and interment was in the church's cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mattie FIXICO of the home in Castle, and their nine children: Arthur L. FIXICO, Abner FIXICO, Richard FIXICO, Benny FIXICO, Lloyd FIXICO, Agnes WEST and Jeanetta SMITH all of Okemah, Sandy FIXICO of Castle, and Edith M. BARNEY of Ava, MO; forty-one grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren.
