She died December 30, 1982, at Bartlett Memorial Health Center. Three services were held for her. Saturday night, January 1, services were held at the Owen Funeral Chapel, with Pickett Chapel UMC Pastor, Joe LOWE, Jr., in charge. Speaker was Rev. John LOWE of Oklahoma City. All night services were held for her on Sunday night, January 2. Speakers were Rev. Earl DUNSON, Jess LONG, Rev. Harrel JONES, Rev. Jimmy CAHWEE, Rev. Jess SULLIVAN and Maxine BUCKTROT, who represented the United Methodist Women. Funeral services were held Monday, January 3, at Owen Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe LOWE, Jr. and Rev. Thomas LONG officiating. Family member surviving her include her daughters, Irene PARKINSON, Bessie CAHWEE, Mary ALEXANDER and Sara WHINERY, all of Kellyville; her sons, James FELIX, Jr. and Amos FELIX both of Kellyville; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
