OK Yahola GIVENS was born July 14, 1914, in Melette. No date was given for his death, but his funeral services were held September 8, 1983, at Hutchachuppa Indian Baptist Church, where he was a member. He lived at Rt. 1 Hanna at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife, Leona GIVENS of the home; sons, Duane GIVENS of Midwest City, and Joe Bailey GIVENS of the home; five daughters, Norman LONDON of Tulsa, Joanne WAUADOOAH of Asher, Stella SIMPSON and Aggie COUGE both of Tulsa, and Gwen HUMMINGBIRD of Pryor; one grandson, Michael TAYLOR of the home; three brothers, Charlie GIVENS of Mendora, CA, Eunah GIVENS of Wetumka and Robert GIVENS of Okemah; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
