She died August 12, 1980, at a local nursing home. Services where held August 15 at Graves Creek Baptist Church in Hitchita, where she was a member. Officiating was Rev. Roley HAYNES. No other information about the funeral or interment was given. Her survivors include her daughter, Lucille HOUTS of Muskogee; and a niece and nephew, Mary GONZALES, and John POLK, both of Hitchita.
