OK Barney HAWKINS was born July 12, 1907, in Schulter. He died May 9, 1983, at his home at age 75. Funeral services were conducted May 12 at the Church of Christ in Henryetta with John WHITLOW and Ellis AULDRIDGE officiating. Interment was at the Salt Creek Cemetery at Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Verna HAWKINS of the home; son Barney HAWKINS, Jr., of Wagoner; four daughters, Mercedes ODOM of Pinneole, CA, Marsha Sue CHISHOLM of Henryetta, Andrea JACKSON of Springdale, AR, and Paula CREW of Claremore; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
