Irene (Simmer) HILL was born September 4, 1917. She died April 14, 1983, at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital in Tulsa. She was a member of Little Quarsarty Baptist Church near Cromwell. Rev. Dan PHILLIPS, Jr., Director of Missions for Muskogee, Seminole and Wichita Association officiated the services, assisted by Rev. Felix TIGER, Pastor of Little Quarsarty. Interment was under the direction of Schumake Funeral Home in Bristow. No information was given on where the funeral was held, nor where she was interred. She was survived by her husband, Toney HILL; sons Stony HILL of Okemah, Dewey HILL of Lamar, Louie HILL of Florida, Billy HILL of Tulsa, J. D. HILL of Ada, and Toby HILL of the home; daughters Emma JONES of Slick, Christine LINDSY of Sasakwa, Wanda HILL of Wewoka, Mallie HILL and Juanita HILL of the home; two aunts, Martha SIMMER and Winey WILSON both of Cromwell; three sisters, Helen COON of Tulsa, Florina HUMMINGBIRD of Okemah, and Edith HARJO of Wewoka; one brother Frank SIMMER of Tulsa; twenty three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
