HANEY was born January 1, 1923, in Seminole County. He died in November, 1983 (no day given). He was a minister of the Indian Methodist Church. Funeral services were conducted on November 19 at the Hitchitee Indian Methodist Church with Rev. Eugene SUNNY and Rev. Butram BABB officiating the service. Interment was in the Hitchitee cemetery under the directions of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole. Survivors include his wife, Tilda HANEY of the home; his two sons Thomas FIXICO of Seminole, and James HANEY of Oklahoma City; his four daughters, Ruth HEDDINGTON of Tulsa, Madeline AMOS, Kissie MOUSE, and Alice PORTER all of Oklahoma City; five brothers, Woodrow HANEY of Tulsa, Warren HANEY, George HANEY and Earnie HANEY all of Shawnee, and Robert HANEY of Glenpool; one sister, Amelia DEER of Seminole; and seven grandchildren.
