He died January 8, 1983, in the Creek Nation Community Hospital. Funeral services were held January 11, at the Prairie Springs Baptist Church west of Okemah with Rev. John FACTOR officiating. Interment was in the Unussee Family Cemetery. At the time of his death, he was Chief of the Okfuskee Tribal Town and had been employed with the Bundy Candy Company in Oklahoma City for many years. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Unussee HARJOCHEE of the home; his six children, Irene CULLY, Barney HARJOCHEE, Martha DUVALL, Timmy HARJOCHEE, all of Ada, and Mollie HARJOCHEE and Newman PHILLIP, both of the home.; and eight grandchildren.
