She died December 26, 1982, at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held December 28 at the Tuskegee Baptist Church near Eufaula with the Rev. Dan PHILLIPS Officiating. Interment was at the Greenwood Cemetery. She was a member of the Bird Creek Indian Baptist Church in Sasakwa. She was married to Buddy LINDSEY, who preceded her in death in 1957. Her survivors include her four sons, James Melvin WACOCHE of Porum, Alex L. LINDSEY of Henryetta, Mose LINDSEY and Buddy LINDSEY, both of Dewar; her daughter, Flora LINDSEY of Eufaula; her brother, Johnson WACOCHE of Tahlequah; her sister Mary FRANCIS of Pierce; her 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
