She died in November, 1983 (no day given). Funeral services were officiated by Rev. C. D. Harjo on November 21 at the Greenleaf Indian Church, where she had been a member. (There was no information on her interment.) She had attended school in Castle and Chilocco Boarding School. She is survived by Thomas TARYOLE, of the home, and her children, Ann VAN DAMME of Amarillo, TX, William HAWKINS of Morris, Bob HAWKINS, Jimmy HAWKINS and Glen HAWKINS, all three of Altus, Paul HAWKINS of Okemah, Louise HAWKINS of Ardmore, Clint HAWKINS and Winnie WOODS both of Ama, TX, June BABB and Sarah BEHLING both of San Benito, TX; and 27 grandchildren.
