He died December 14, 1995, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. A prayer service was held December 17 at Smith Funeral Home, followed by funeral services December 18 at Pickett Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Interment was in the Felix Family Cemetery. He had served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and later worked as an auto mechanic and at McMichael Concrete Company for 20 years. In addition to his church membership, he was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Disabled American Veterans, Kellyville Roundup Club, the Masonic Lodge, and Kellyville Senior Citizens. He was survived by his wife, Jencie Rusco FELIX, whom he married on January 10, 1953, in Van Buren, AR; his son, Timothy FELIX of Kellyville; his two daughters, Paula TABOR of Kellyville, and Robin WHITEHOUSE of Sapulpa; three sisters, Bessie CAHWEE, Irene PARKINSON, and Sarah WHINERY, all of Kellyville; and six grandchildren.
