No information was give on his age or date of birth. He died February 18, 1996, at his home. Funeral services were held February 21 at his home with Rev. John BILLY and Rev. Bo JOHNSON officiating. Pallbearers were Mekko TYNER, Nathaniel HARJO, Oscar HARJO, Earnest VOICE, Chris WARE, Noah TIGER, Zerndorf BILLY, Jr., and Sema HOBIA. Honorary pallbearers were Yahola TOWNSEND and Thomas McINTOSH. No information was given on the place of interment. He was Mekko of Tallahassee Wvkokaye Ceremonial Ground. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and received the Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Ribbon, EAME Theater Ribbon, and three Bronze Service Stars. He was employed by the Naval Ammunition Depot in McAlester. He worked as a laborer before retiring and enjoyed attending gospel singings at Trenton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnson PROCTOR; his wife, Gracine Bullet PROCTOR; two children; two sisters, Ella Proctor BILLY and Mandy Proctor LOWE; and one brother, Andy PROCTOR. He is survived by three brothers; one sister; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
