She died January 23, 1996, in Tulsa. Funeral services were held January 27 at the First Assembly of God Church, Henryetta, with Rev. George CHRISTY officiating. Pallbearers were Bobby CRAWLEY, Kevin CRAWLEY, Wendell CRAWLEY, Darren CROWLEY, Jim RAYBURN, and Bill QUINTON. Interment was in Dustin Cemetery. She was a registered nurse and had worked at the Weleetka hospital, the old Henryetta hospital, and had retired from the Henryetta Medical Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lena Starr FREEMAN; and her husband, Hubert SCOTT, whom she married on December 16, 1939, in Eufaula. She was survived by her son, Doug SCOTT of Henryetta; her daughter, Wynema STEELE of Broken Arrow; two sisters, Marian CRAWLEY of Weleetka, and Wynema RAINER of Taos, NM.
