She died April 22, 1997, in Okmulgee. Funeral services were held April 25 at First Grace Church with Rev. Bob THOMAS officiating. Music for the service was provided by Leonard CROCKETT, Luther METCALF and Wade HUNTER. Pallbearers were Jim BLACKFORD, Dennis CHAFFIN, Leon BARNHART, Pete CLEVELAND, Herb EASTHAM, and Jay HUNTER. Interment was in Bixby Cemetery. She was an original enrollee and the daughter of William and Nettie Barber COLEMAN, both deceased. She was married to Percy BELL who preceded her in death. She was survived by one daughter, Marjorie SMITHEE of Bixby; one grandson, Ronny SMITHEE of Harrah; three great-grandchildren Derek SMITHEE, Kirk SMITHEE, and Dayna DUKE; and five great-great-grandchildren.
