He died April 11, 1997, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Funeral services were held April 14 at Hutchechuppa Baptist Church with Rev. John RILEY and Rev. Alex LOWE officiating. Interment was in the Wiley-Watson Cemetery. He was a graduate of Tulsa East Central High School and was employed with the family business, Harjo Lawn and Tree Service. He was affiliated with Harvest Christian Church. He was the son of Albert and Polly Biggs HARJO. His father survived. He also was survived by his siblings, James HARJO, Billy HARJO, Johnny HARJO, Betty HARJO, Kim HARJO, Wanda HARJO, Bobby HARJO, Stanley HARJO, and Sasonya HARJO; and many other relatives and friends.
