He died September 8, 1996, at Michael Reece Hospital. Funeral services were held September 14 at Carter Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ricki VAUGH and James GATES officiating. No information was given on the place of interment. He was raised in Weleetka, had worked in Montana and Kansas, and had been employed with Campbell Soup Company in Chicago until taking a medical retirement due to an industrial accident. He was the son of Fannie McNac and Dave Tewee JEFFLEY, both deceased. He was survived by his four daughters, Shirley GRUNDY of Oklahoma City, Michelle JEFFLEY of Chicago, IL, Jackie JEFFLEY of Houston, TX, and Tedi JEFFLEY of Jefferson, TX; his two sons, Robert JEFFLEY, Jr., and Dave Jeffley, both of Jefferson, TX; three sisters, Minnie JEFFLEY of Weleetka, Alice Mae LINDSEY of Bristow, and Rose Lee BUSTAMANTE of Lawton; four brothers, Jessie JEFFLEY of Kansas City, MO, Bill BUCKLEY of Oklahoma City, and Edmond BUCKLEY and Richard BUCKLEY, both of Weleetka; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
