He died June 8, 1997, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Funeral services were held at the First United Methodist Church on June 11. Interment was in Green Hills Memorial Gardens. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Arthur and Jeanette RECORD; brothers Francis and Lee RECORD, and sisters May CUMMINS and Mary FIELDS. He is survived by his wife, Delores RECORD, of the home; his children, Alfred Arthur RECORD, Jr. of Jenks, Debbie WHITTAKER of Broken Arrow, Vickie HOLMES of Sapulpa, and Cheryl GORMAN of the home; two sisters, Juanita HARRIS of Hays, KS, and Juliana HUGHES; and 13 grandchildren.
