She died February 26, 1997. Funeral services were held March 1 at Little Coweta Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Charles STORY officiating. Pallbearers were Steve RUMSEY, Jeff RUMSEY, Ray RUMSEY, Mark RUMSEY, Josh RUMSEY, and Abe McINTOSH. Honorary pallbearers were Mitch RUMSEY and Dennis VANGEL. Interment was in the Rumsey Family Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hence and Nancy Atkinson MORRISON; two brothers, Luke MORRISON and Ernest MORRISON; three sisters, Hettie DERISAW, Susie McFARLAND, Bessie BRIGHTMAN; two children, Raymond RUMSEY and Ruth RUMSEY; and one granddaughter, Reba Rumsey CHURCH. She was survived by her husband, Pink RUMSEY, whom she married August 4, 1919, at Fame; three children, Jack RUMSEY and Louise McINTOSH, both of Stidham, and Jon RUMSEY of Newcastle; one sister, Bettie DERISAW of Stidham; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
